This glass pipette is a wine thief witch is used to take off the wine from the barrels.
This can be done by absorbing the wine with the mouth in the upper part of the pipette. When you remove the pipette from the barrel hole, the wine will be hold in the pipette by a glass bung that is in the bottom part and has the function of a valve.
Then you can fill your glass with wine by the upper part of this simple and ingenious pipe
